We are a community farm and education centre situated within an urban area of Southampton. The farm has a selection of livestock animals including pigs, sheep, goats, poultry and a rare breed cow, as well as our smaller exotic animals: degus, skink, snake, hedgehog, African land snails, cockroaches, gecko and sugar gliders to name but a few! Opening times for the public are Saturdays and Sundays, 10am - 3pm.
During the week we run an Adult Learning Disability Programme, a group for people living with Dementia and have educational school visits (the farm has a close relationship with two units working with young people at risk of exclusion from mainstream education and those with specialist educational needs). At the weekend we host children’s birthday parties for up to 15 children. During school holidays we offer children's activities, youth groups, and throughout the year we host corporate team building events. The farm offers everyone the opportunity to interact with animals and the natural environment, providing education, promoting independence and most importantly inspiring happiness within a safe and relaxed environment.
