Viewing Day RSH Hospital Chapel Southampton
The Friends of RSH Hospital Chapel invite you to a rare chance to explore the interior of this Victorian grade II listed chapel. Built in 1858 from a design by Hinves and Bedborough the chapel has been closed for 12 years and is now about to undergo a conservation project which will incorporate a lift, toilet and kitchen to serve the local area as a meeting and community centre.
Parking is available at the hospital visitors' car park [Pay Point at the entrance to Fanshawe wing or street parking [pay and display] on Graham Road or Lyon Street.
The entrance to the chapel is via a temporary stairwell and we regret that it is not suitable for young children or visitors with a disability.
