Senior Staff Nurse (EDU WARD)
A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a motivated Senior Staff Nurse to work in the EDU Ward in an exceptional hospital service based in Southampton. As a Nurse you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.
This special hospital specialises in a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety and stress. They are also able to provide expert outpatient treatment for eating disorders at the hospital.
As a Senior Staff Nurse your day to day duties include:
• Adopt a systemic, individual approach to all patient care plans and communicate the outcomes to the clinical team both verbally and in writing, ensuring all CPA and risk assessment documentation is kept up to date.
• Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively
• Undertake lead roles as directed by ward manager
• Provide supervision for junior nurse and health care assistants
• Ensure effective communication of any concerns relating to patient care.
• Deputise in the absence of the Ward Manager and their Deputy to manage the staffing and clinical needs of the ward as required.
• Support and supervise new or junior assist and support regional management in developing and implementing new services.
• Manage the assessment, implementation and evaluation of individual patient care plans while promoting a professional working environment to ensure a high standard of patient care.
The successful Senior Staff Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £31,000 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week (part time hours will also be considered). In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:

To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Nurse either RGN or RMN
