Inspired by the work of Dame Cicely Saunders (1918-2005), founder of the hospice movement, the organisation we know as Mountbatten Hampshire is the county's oldest and largest hospice. We have been proudly serving our community for more than 45 years.
We deliver expert specialist palliative care 24/7, to both patients and their families, in their own homes and in our hospice.
One of the many ways you can support Mountbatten Hampshire is by donating and purchasing high-quality new and used items at one of our charity shops.
You’ll find a wide range of items in our shops from glass and ceramic ware, clothing, jewellery, toys, furniture, and electrical appliances.
Our Mountbatten charity shops rely on the generosity of those who donate quality second-hand items.
All the proceeds from our shops go towards providing services for people across Southampton and large parts of Hampshire who are facing death, dying and bereavement.
